"The FLI provides teams a great opportunity to play against competition on your level that you don't see during the season. It's affordable and a huge savings for those without a big budget to work with when compared to attending team camps at a college campus. The FLI works with Big Shots and college coaches help get your players recruited and on the map! We've been to the FLI since it started and will continue to go every year!" • Last Year we had 40 men’s teams 12 women’s teams with 3 great days of basketball. We have an expectation of at least 70+ teams participating this year. The FLI Jamboree has proven to help teams and coaches enhance their team’s development. The competition level is “second to none” with area teams as well as teams from Greenville, Raleigh, and Fayetteville. This year with the addition of Big Shots the FLI has become a national event. College coaches are in attendance every day scouting players; we had at least 12 colleges in attendance as well as Juco Junction, Phenom Hoops, and Big Shots recruiting services . Please mark this event on your calendar for this summer, you won’t regret it!!!

  • What are they saying? The Fred Lynch Invitation is an opportunity for teams to play against great competition that they do not see during the season.  With money being as tight as it is now, this event fits right in to any team's budget.  Economical motel rooms are available that make it possible for teams to spend three days together and build on team bonding that is so important during the season.  Any team looking for an event that will help them get better and not break the bank, the Fred Lynch Invitational is the place to go.  Coach Faulk does a great job in running this jamboree in a professional manner and he will do all that he can to make your stay in Wilmington as prosperous as it can be.   – Tim Pope (Head Coach Union High School)
