The 2nd Annual Fred Lynch Invitational is Now In The Works!
Mar 2, 2013, 3:42 am

FLI

Last Year we had 26 men’s teams with 3 great days of basketball. We have an expectation of at least 40 teams participating this year. The FLI Jamboree has proven to help teams and coaches enhance their team’s development. The competition level is “second to none” with area teams as well as teams from Greenville, Raleigh, and Fayetteville. College coaches are in attendance every day scouting players; we had at least 10 colleges in attendance everyday last year. Please mark this event on your calendar for this summer, you won’t regret it!!!

This year, the 2nd annual Fred Lynch Invitational will take place on June
17-19 (UNCW Team Camp begins after 6pm for local teams on June 19, all others June 20)
, at Laney High School (Michael Jordan Gymnasium), Trask & Holly Shelter Middle Schools.

For more information, please feel free to check out the Info Sheet or contact Coach Nathan Faulk.

Greenville Rose 56

Laney took on Greenville Rose in a tough loss at home where the Bucs lead most of the way, but a late Rose run gave the Rampants a 6-point win. Laney was lead off the benchby Nick Parker, who had 20 points and 6 3-pointers.

The Laney vs. Greenville Rose was our annual Teacher Appreciation game where players asked their favorite teacher to wear their jersey at school all day and attend the game to cheer them on. This is always a great experience for our teachers as well as our players.
